Archbishop McCarthy High School is fortunate to have a strong network of alumni, parents, and friends who are dedicated to supporting the school and its mission through commitments of time and resources. The Office of Advancement works to create and maintain relationships with them, along with various corporations and foundations, to secure support for the school and its students. There are many ways to give. No matter how you choose to invest in Archbishop McCarthy, you will be helping us provide for today’s students and tomorrow’s leaders.

Gifts of Cash – Commonly gifts to Archbishop McCarthy are received in the form of cash, via check or credit card. A gift of cash entitles you to the most generous federal income tax deduction available for charitable contributions.

Matching Funds – Make your gift go further. Archbishop McCarthy High School accepts matching gifts. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, contact your Human Resources Department and request the necessary forms or online process, and follow through to apply for the match. Gifts-In-Kind – The Advancement Office accepts in-kind donations that can be used at our school’s annual Dinner Dance and Auction, the Fashion Show, the Golf Tournament, and many more fundraising events. In-kind donations are gifts that are donated to Archbishop McCarthy High School for various programs, facilities, and resources. Examples include gift cards, baskets for auctions, sporting equipment, instruments, sports and music memorabilia, tickets to an event or destination, use of family vacation property…the list goes on and on!

Gifts of Marketable Securities – A gift of appreciated securities that you have held for more than one year is an economical way to give. If your gift of securities is held by your bank or broker please contact the appropriate representative and instruct them to contact the Archbishop McCarthy Director of Advancement to expedite the process.

Gifts of Other Assets – Gifts to Archbishop McCarthy can come in forms of other assets not mentioned above. You may wish to consider gifts of stock, bequests, or real estate. Contact the Advancement Office for further details.
